The Alma Single Oval Vertical Designer Radiator 1800mm x 480mm White brings a rounded profile to a tall radiator position. The single oval design offers a distinct choice within the Alma family without changing the stated height and width used by the double version.
White can help the radiator sit calmly within pale paintwork, light furniture and a simple room scheme. The oval profiles add shape without relying on a strong colour contrast, making the design worth considering when softer details are preferred. Its 1800mm height makes the radiator an upright element of the wall layout; measure the usable position and connection space before ordering. Compare the single and double specifications against the room’s calculated heating requirement.

Q1. What does single oval mean on the white Alma?
A1. This Alma has a single oval design. Flat and oval designer radiators have their own profiles; their single/double labels are not interchangeable with Aura’s 2-column/3-column terminology.
Q2. Is the single Alma shorter than the double model?
A2. The Alma single and double oval models share 1800mm x 480mm overall dimensions and come in white or anthracite. Their construction differs, so compare confirmed outputs and installation details before choosing.
Q3. Could this white oval radiator suit a minimalist room?
A3. This model is supplied in white. Oval profiles give the radiator a rounded appearance. Check finish samples or product images when coordinating with other fittings, since names alone do not guarantee an exact colour match.
Q4. Will the single Alma suit my room’s heat requirement?
A4. Choose this 1800mm x 480mm model against a room heat-loss calculation and the confirmed output at your system’s operating temperature. Dimensions alone cannot establish whether it will provide enough heat.
Q5. Are radiator valves part of this listing?
A5. Valves are not included; check our valve guide to buy the right valve alongside the radiator. The correct straight, angled or corner arrangement depends on the pipe approach and radiator connections. Choose the connection type first, then a coordinating finish.
Q6. What is this single oval radiator made from?
A6. This Alma has a single oval design. Flat and oval designer radiators have their own profiles; their single/double labels are not interchangeable with Aura’s 2-column/3-column terminology.
Which Valves do I need?
Pipework coming up from the floor + radiator connections on the side = Angled Valves Suitable for any pipework which comes up from beneath, through your floor or up from your skirting board.
Pipework coming up from the floor + radiator connections on the underneath side = Straight Valves. Best suited for pipework exiting from your floor or flexi-pipe up from your skirting board.
Pipework coming out from the wall + radiator connections on the side = Corner Valves (recommended) or Angled Valves If your pipework exits the wall the travels up to the radiator, Angled Valves will work best.
Pipework coming out from the wall + radiator connections on the underneath side = Corner Valves (recommended) or Angled Valves. You can also use Angled valves if you would like the valves to face forward.
Ensure you check with your plumber or installer to make sure you are using the correct valves. Need help? Contact our sales team today? 01257 452 879
