The anthracite Luna Double Flat Vertical Designer Radiator turns a practical heating position into a defined part of the interior. At 1800mm x 456mm, its tall proportions and straight panel lines can complement contemporary cabinets, door frames and furniture.
Anthracite provides a dark grey accent rather than the lighter appearance of the white version. It can be coordinated with grey furnishings or contrasted with warm timber and pale walls. The 456mm body is the wider Luna option in this selection, so it is worth considering when the radiator needs more visual presence than the 380mm model. Allow for connections and access when planning the position, including nearby doors and furnishings.
Selecting your fittings
Valves are not included; check our valve guide to buy the right valve alongside the radiator. Choose the connection arrangement to suit the pipework, then select the finish. Q1. Is the anthracite Luna a double-panel vertical radiator?
A1. This Luna has a double flat-panel design. Flat and oval designer radiators have their own profiles; their single/double labels are not interchangeable with Aura’s 2-column/3-column terminology.
Q2. How does anthracite differ visually from white?
A2. The Luna double flat vertical models are 1800mm high with 380mm or 456mm widths, in white and anthracite. A wider model needs more wall space; compare confirmed heat outputs separately.
Q3. Is 456mm the wider Luna size listed here?
A3. The radiator body measures 1800mm high x 456mm wide. Allow additional space for the selected valves, connections, mounting clearances and access. Measure the usable wall area and nearby doors or furniture before ordering.
Q4. Can I choose matching anthracite radiator valves?
A4. Valves are not included; check our valve guide to buy the right valve alongside the radiator. The correct straight, angled or corner arrangement depends on the pipe approach and radiator connections. Choose the connection type first, then a coordinating finish.
Q5. Will this tall Luna fit where a standard panel radiator was?
A5. The radiator body measures 1800mm high x 456mm wide. Allow additional space for the selected valves, connections, mounting clearances and access. Measure the usable wall area and nearby doors or furniture before ordering.
Q6. Is anthracite guaranteed to match another brand’s finish?
A6. No exact cross-brand colour match is confirmed. Anthracite shades and surface finishes can differ, so compare finish samples before coordinating products from different suppliers.
Which Valves do I need?
Pipework coming up from the floor + radiator connections on the side = Angled Valves Suitable for any pipework which comes up from beneath, through your floor or up from your skirting board.
Pipework coming up from the floor + radiator connections on the underneath side = Straight Valves. Best suited for pipework exiting from your floor or flexi-pipe up from your skirting board.
Pipework coming out from the wall + radiator connections on the side = Corner Valves (recommended) or Angled Valves If your pipework exits the wall the travels up to the radiator, Angled Valves will work best.
Pipework coming out from the wall + radiator connections on the underneath side = Corner Valves (recommended) or Angled Valves. You can also use Angled valves if you would like the valves to face forward.
Ensure you check with your plumber or installer to make sure you are using the correct valves. Need help? Contact our sales team today? 01257 452 879
