A tall black towel rail can give a bathroom a defined vertical accent. The Aura Mira Steel Towel Rail Matt Black 1800mm x 500mm combines that appearance with the practical role of warming towels through a water-based central-heating circuit.
The 1800mm body is the taller Mira choice, suitable to consider where the wall layout has enough uninterrupted height. Against pale tiles, matt black makes the rail stand out; alongside black taps or a shower frame, it can help repeat the finish throughout the room. Check the fitted position around doors, furniture and access points before deciding. As with any bathroom radiator, confirm the room-heating requirement independently of the visual size.

Q1. What size is the tall matt black Mira towel radiator?
A1. The radiator body measures 1800mm high x 500mm wide. Allow additional space for the selected valves, connections, mounting clearances and access. Measure the usable wall area and nearby doors or furniture before ordering.
Q2. How does the 1800mm black rail differ from the shorter option?
A2. The Mira products in this range are 500mm wide, with 1500mm and 1800mm heights in chrome, matt black and brushed brass. Choose the dimensions that fit your space and verify the required heat output separately.
Q3. Can I use black valves with this Mira?
A3. Valves are not included; check our valve guide to buy the right valve alongside the radiator. The correct straight, angled or corner arrangement depends on the pipe approach and radiator connections. Choose the connection type first, then a coordinating finish.
Q4. Is this towel rail guaranteed to heat a large bathroom?
A4. The model carries a 5-year warranty, subject to the applicable terms. The warranty does not guarantee that the radiator will provide sufficient heat for a large bathroom. Check the required heat output against a room heat-loss calculation.
Q5. What should I measure around a tall bathroom radiator?
A5. The radiator body measures 1800mm high x 500mm wide. Allow additional space for the selected valves, connections, mounting clearances and access. Measure the usable wall area and nearby doors or furniture before ordering.
Q6. Does this product include an electric heating element?
A6. This Mira listing is specified for central heating, not as an electric model. Towel warming depends on the heating system running; electric or dual-fuel compatibility has not been confirmed.
Which Valves do I need?
Pipework coming up from the floor + radiator connections on the side = Angled Valves Suitable for any pipework which comes up from beneath, through your floor or up from your skirting board.
Pipework coming up from the floor + radiator connections on the underneath side = Straight Valves. Best suited for pipework exiting from your floor or flexi-pipe up from your skirting board.
Pipework coming out from the wall + radiator connections on the side = Corner Valves (recommended) or Angled Valves If your pipework exits the wall the travels up to the radiator, Angled Valves will work best.
Pipework coming out from the wall + radiator connections on the underneath side = Corner Valves (recommended) or Angled Valves. You can also use Angled valves if you would like the valves to face forward.
