FAQS

Q1. Does the raw metal finish have a completely uniform appearance?
No, the natural character of the steel can include subtle tonal differences and visible weld detailing, giving each radiator its own appearance.

Q2. Would this radiator suit an exposed brick wall?
Yes, the raw metal finish can work particularly well alongside exposed brick, timber and other natural materials.

Q3. Could I use this radiator as part of an industrial-style interior?
Yes, its unfinished metal appearance and traditional column shape make it a natural fit for industrial and contemporary interiors.

Q4. Would the raw metal finish work in a period property?
It can, as the two-column design retains a traditional radiator shape while the raw metal finish adds a more modern element.

Q5. Is 380mm width useful when I have limited wall space?
The 380mm width gives you a narrower vertical option while retaining the full 1800mm height.

Q6. Can I pair this radiator with wooden flooring and furniture?
Yes, the natural metal appearance can complement timber flooring, wooden furniture and other earthy materials.

Q7. What should I check if I am replacing an existing radiator?
Check the required heat output and compare your existing pipework with the 450mm pipe centres and 61mm wall-to-pipe-centre measurement before ordering.

Q8. Will the radiator project far into the room?
The listed wall-to-face depth is 95mm, so this measurement is worth considering when planning nearby furniture or walking space.

Q9. Could this be used in a living room rather than just as a feature radiator?
Yes, it provides 3062 BTU / 897W of heat, but the output should be compared with the room’s calculated heating requirement.

Q10. What type of valves would I need for this radiator?
The correct valve type depends on where your pipework comes from and where the radiator connections are positioned, so it is best to confirm this with your plumber before ordering.

Valve Guide

Which Valves do I need?

Pipework coming up from the floor + radiator connections on the side = Angled Valves Suitable for any pipework which comes up from beneath, through your floor or up from your skirting board.

Pipework coming up from the floor + radiator connections on the underneath side = Straight Valves. Best suited for pipework exiting from your floor or flexi-pipe up from your skirting board.

Pipework coming out from the wall + radiator connections on the side = Corner Valves (recommended) or Angled Valves If your pipework exits the wall the travels up to the radiator, Angled Valves will work best.

Pipework coming out from the wall + radiator connections on the underneath side = Corner Valves (recommended) or Angled Valves. You can also use Angled valves if you would like the valves to face forward.

Ensure you check with your plumber or installer to make sure you are using the correct valves. Need help? Contact our sales team today? 01257 452 879

Fantastic addition to our living room

    GBSouthampton

Swapped out a tired old panel radiator for this Aura 2-column and the difference in both warmth and appearance is remarkable. The room heats up noticeably faster and the design looks intentional rather than just functional. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade.

  2. Ella –

    Excellent radiator

    GBCoventry

This column radiator is genuinely impressive solid build, great heat output and it looks the part in our Victorian semi.

Spent ages looking for a radiator. This Aura column in white is spot on. The proportions are right, the heat output is excellent and it was well packaged when it arrived. Would recommend to anyone doing a period property.
