FAQs

Q1. How much wall width does the 1800 x 425mm Aura need?

A1. The radiator body measures 1800mm high x 425mm wide. Allow additional space for the selected valves, connections, mounting clearances and access. Measure the usable wall area and nearby doors or furniture before ordering.

Q2. Is the 425mm model wider than the 380mm Aura?

A2. The Aura range includes Aura 1800mm-high vertical models in 380mm, 425mm and 470mm widths, in both 2-column and 3-column versions. This listing is specifically the 2-column, 425mm-wide model; compare verified outputs and mounting dimensions before selecting.

Q3. Why do you recommend feet for this 2-column radiator?

A3. We advise buying matching 2-column radiator feet to help support the radiator’s weight and reduce strain on the wall. Confirm the feet suit this exact Aura model and follow the installation instructions for wall restraint.

Q4. Is this Aura radiator made from cast iron?

A4. This model is made from mild steel. Matt Black describes the finish; it does not change the listed construction material.

Q5. Can I put furniture in front of a tall column radiator?

A5. Allow room for air circulation and access rather than enclosing the radiator behind furniture. On a towel rail, covering the heated surface can reduce the warmth reaching the bathroom; size room heating accordingly.

Q6. What guarantee is provided for this 425mm radiator?

A6. This model carries a 5 years warranty. Check the applicable terms before purchase.

Valve Guide

Which Valves do I need?

Pipework coming up from the floor + radiator connections on the side = Angled Valves Suitable for any pipework which comes up from beneath, through your floor or up from your skirting board.

Pipework coming up from the floor + radiator connections on the underneath side = Straight Valves. Best suited for pipework exiting from your floor or flexi-pipe up from your skirting board.

Pipework coming out from the wall + radiator connections on the side = Corner Valves (recommended) or Angled Valves If your pipework exits the wall the travels up to the radiator, Angled Valves will work best.

Pipework coming out from the wall + radiator connections on the underneath side = Corner Valves (recommended) or Angled Valves. You can also use Angled valves if you would like the valves to face forward.

Ensure you check with your plumber or installer to make sure you are using the correct valves. Need help? Contact our sales team today? 01257 452 879
