Pipework coming up from the floor + radiator connections on the side = Angled Valves Suitable for any pipework which comes up from beneath, through your floor or up from your skirting board.
Pipework coming up from the floor + radiator connections on the underneath side = Straight Valves. Best suited for pipework exiting from your floor or flexi-pipe up from your skirting board.
Pipework coming out from the wall + radiator connections on the side = Corner Valves (recommended) or Angled Valves If your pipework exits the wall the travels up to the radiator, Angled Valves will work best.
Pipework coming out from the wall + radiator connections on the underneath side = Corner Valves (recommended) or Angled Valves. You can also use Angled valves if you would like the valves to face forward.

I’ve been renovating our 1930s semi for three years and the Alma oval vertical is the piece I’m most proud of. The oval profile is so much more refined than a standard flat panel it catches the light beautifully and makes the room look genuinely considered. Heat output is also seriously impressive. Our heating engineer said he’d not seen one before and was very complimentary.

The Alma single oval looks really lovely on the wall the oval form is genuinely distinctive and different to anything else we looked at. However for our 4x5m living room it’s struggling to keep the space warm on the coldest days. I should have done more careful BTU calculations before ordering. The product quality itself is fine I’d just advise anyone to be very precise about heat output requirements before choosing a size.

The radiator is genuinely beautiful in design and the oval form looks great in our hallway. It arrived with a small scuff on the rear panel though probably happened in transit. It’s not visible once fitted to the wall but it was a bit disappointing at that price point. The heating performance is good and the plumber had no issues.
