Which Valves do I need?
Pipework coming up from the floor + radiator connections on the side = Angled Valves Suitable for any pipework which comes up from beneath, through your floor or up from your skirting board.
Pipework coming up from the floor + radiator connections on the underneath side = Straight Valves. Best suited for pipework exiting from your floor or flexi-pipe up from your skirting board.
Pipework coming out from the wall + radiator connections on the side = Corner Valves (recommended) or Angled Valves If your pipework exits the wall the travels up to the radiator, Angled Valves will work best.
Pipework coming out from the wall + radiator connections on the underneath side = Corner Valves (recommended) or Angled Valves. You can also use Angled valves if you would like the valves to face forward.

I was a bit sceptical buying a radiator online you can’t really tell the quality from photos. But the Aura column was genuinely impressive when it arrived. Solid, well finished, and the fittings were all included. Our heating engineer fitted it in our bedroom and we’ve not had a cold night since.

The proportions are right, the heat output is excellent and it was well packaged when it arrived. Our heating engineer fitted it in under 90 minutes. Was expecting the anthracite finish to be a bit darker and more metallic based on the product photos. In person it’s more of a dark grey. Still looks fine in the room but if you’re colour matching carefully, I’d recommend seeing a sample first. The heat output is decent and the build feels solid enough.

Our new build came with the cheapest radiators imaginable. Swapped them out for Aura columns in the living room and dining room and the whole house feels different. The 3-column versions give out noticeably more heat and the look is a thousand times better. Plumber said they were straightforward to install.

Only giving four stars because the thing is absolutely enormous I knew the dimensions but somehow didn’t account for how heavy it would be. Worth knowing if you’re fitting it yourself. Our plumber had to get a second pair of hands to hang it.
